I want to get an action camera to view my rc cars going slow, crashing LEGO, and all sorts of stuff.
Don’t want or need a GoPro, 4K, Wifi, etc. Just simple small lightweight camera that can record 60/120 or even higher FPS. Sound when showing slow motion would be a plus.
These two are the ones im looking at:
Older, doesn’t record sound in 120 FPS.

Newer and records sound in slow motion as far as I know. Need to do more research.

Anyone have other action cameras they like to recommend?

Can’t go wrong with a GoPro. I got the base $200 model, then added a boatload of stickies and mounts in a $20 package. Used old memory cards.
Mine is the Hero3, it will do 720p @ 60 fps. Not sure if they improved that on new ones.

The cheapest go pro is $129 and only goes up to 60 FPS. I’d have to get the Hero3+ for $300 just to shoot in 120 FPS. Not worth spending that much for a camera I may seldom use. Unless I find a used one for a good price.
